Tpad Announces SIP-Based Predictive Dialer

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

Tpad, a provider of managed Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) services, is offering predictive dialers based on the company’s SIP trunking technology.

SIP is more advanced than VoIP. While VoIP offers only voice calls, SIP trunking uses the same Internet-based transmission to enable video calls, instant messaging, conference calls, and video conferencing, the company said in a statement.

According to Tpad (News - Alert), “although SIP technology is based mainly on the convergence of data and voice through Internet connectivity, the use of SIP can indeed be expanded to suit the needs of clients.”SIP gateways are capable of handling greater amount of data. Despite this, they are able to handle greater traffic at high speeds. In effect, SIP exploits all possible communication methods using a single system.

Moreover, SIP trunking can be used with as few or as many users as necessary, ensuring maximum productivity and profitability. As the technology uses Internet for communications, it makes international calls as affordable as local calls.

Due to these reasons, a predictive dialer running on SIP technology becomes highly efficient and more affordable.

Tpad’s predictive dialer offers several expanded capabilities. In addition to serving as a telecommunications tool, it also serves as a management control system, a reports generation system, and a call recording system.

“There is real-time session management in the switching, bandwidth allocation, session management, session prioritization, interoperability to discuss with clients about, apart from cost savings," said Simon Jones, a representative of Tpad.

The predictive dialer from Tpad has the ability to recall the numbers it has dialed and the time the calls were made. It alls tells whether the calls were converted to sales or customers asked to be called back. Additionally it can filter non-functional numbers.

The SIP-based dialer system is expected to benefit call and contact center outsourcing firms. The enhanced capabilities make it suitable for all types of organizations. The company expects rapid growth for the system within the year.
