Singapore has become a geography preferred market for data centers in the last few years. The country is politically stable and provides the infrastructure required for a stable data centre operation. This has resulted in various companies opening their data centers in Singapore lately.

LiveOps (News - Alert) has opened a new data center in Singapore, which will help in catering to the requirements of its increasing multinational customer base.

The company now operates data centers in the U.K., United States, New Zealand and Singapore. For more than a decade, LiveOps has been looking after major contact center operations in the cloud. Administered by ITIL best practices for IT operations, the LiveOps Platform is installed in data centers.

LiveOps allows users to quickly install an always-on, safe, multitenant contact center solution with the help of a pay-as-you-go model. The company offers easy-to-use interface and the users can simply add agents, customize reports and design IVRs.

Not only does having a data center presence in the APAC region enable LiveOps to expand its business, but it also enables our customers and partners to be confident that their regional operations will now have local access to our cloud voice and data network," said Mark Westover, SVP, Operations and Finance, LiveOps. Recently, the company announced that more than 6,500 home-based, independent, customer service agents have processed in excess of $14.8 million in total credit card donations with the help of LiveOps Platform between two major telethons. LiveOps managed well above 90 percent of the total donation calls produces all over the country during this telethon. The first telethon started on November 3 and donations continued to pour in until November 11.
