REVE Systems has announced the launch of iTel Switch Plus 2.0, an advanced and complete retail VoIP platform. Based on REVE’s proprietary technology, iTel Switch Plus 2.0 has improved security features, a Never Go Negative feature, ‘N’ level of resellers creation feature, single PIN for all call origination devices feature and another feature that even allows it to run behind NAT or on private IP.
The new solution is described by company officials as, “a secured and versatile soft switch platform with integrated billing,” which has been designed to “suit VoIP service providers with retail and wholesale operations, irrespective of their scale of business.”
iTel Switch Plus 2.0 is completely hack-proof as it is backed by dual levels of protection. The primary protection is basically password based authentication and the secondary is an IP based authentication. Apart from offering high level security, iTel Switch Plus also offers features such as “Never Go Negative”, “Mobile Top-Up” and “Unlimited Level Reseller Creation”.
The Never Go Negative feature ensures user pin balance from going negative. Whereas the mobile top up facility allows top up and voice calls from same PIN. iTel Switch Plus 2.0 also supports ‘N’ level of reseller creation which gives the flexibility to create unlimited number of resellers at any level
iTel Switch Plus 2.0 can be deployed in a single server platform, company officials say, “as well as in a distributed architecture.” It’s billed as suitable for large IP carriers, “while its standalone version enables medium to small service providers an easy start of operation.” Under its distributed architecture, iTel Switch Plus supports 20,000 concurrent calls and up to 800 calls in its standalone server.
In addition, iTel Switch Plus 2.0 comes with an integrated billing software. The Softswitch allows service providers to evaluate their business from flexible monitoring reports, its call log report gives service providers a live commentary on their servers, and comparison reports of A to Z routes among different providers are useful for making business decisions.
