For the first time, Hexagrid, an Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas) enabler, will join regional IT leaders at Gateway to Innovation (G21), a premier event promoting the advancement of regionally developed technologies, held today, April 5, in St. Louis.
The G2I conference highlights and promotes technology innovation within the St. Louis business community by connecting local high-tech visionaries with national technology investors and business executives. Headquartered in St. Louis since its founding in 2008, Hexagrid looks forward to attending the event.
“This is the first time Hexagrid has attended the Gateway (News - Alert) to Innovation conference, but we look forward to networking with local technology visionaries and business executives, as well as national investor and regional development organizations who share our interest in technology innovation,” Suresh Mandava, CEO and founder of Hexagrid, told TMCnet. “It's important that the local business community knows that a worldwide leader in the IaaS cloud computing industry is headquartered right here in St. Louis.”
“Most of the companies showcased at this event are innovative technology start-ups, like Hexagrid, but in earlier stages of organizational development,” Mandava added. “Hexagrid already has a worldwide reputation and offices on both sides of the globe (St. Louis, MO and Hyderabad, India) with an established technology product, VxDatacenter, that is being adopted by healthcare, telecom, financial, and data center service providers worldwide.”
The IaaS enabler’s success is largely due to the revolutionary cloud capabilities of its flagship product, VxDatacenter, according to company officials.
Hexagrid’s VxDatacenter platform is a comprehensive IaaS cloud solution specifically designed for real-world IT delivery. The platform provides “unprecedented control and agility enabling IT organizations to deliver all the benefits of today’s popular commodity clouds without all the hassles,” according to company officials. The tagline for the product reads: “It’s your cloud, own it!”
Hexagrid will showcase its state-of-the-art VxDatacenter cloud platform at the conference.
“Other ‘cloud’ companies in the region offer hosted IaaS solutions or Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solutions which are all built on a platform like Hexagrid's VxDatacenter,” Mark Lawson, director of sales, told TMCnet. “Our VxDatacenter product literally provides a platform upon which other businesses can develop and launch their own innovative technology concepts and service offerings.”
In addition to showcasing its main product, the IaaS enabler looks forward to networking with potential partners to further support technology innovation and industry growth. Hexagrid’s rapid expansion is based on worldwide demand for advanced cloud capabilities, but local partnerships deliver regional economic and industry advancement opportunities in line with G2I’s mission, according to company officials.
