LodgeNet Interactive Corporation, a provider of interactive media and connectivity services, has installed an IP communications system at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, CA (News - Alert).

The company has installed an IP-based Envision interactive TV (iTV) solution at the resort, offering premium Hollywood entertainment and comprehensive interactive guest service via LodgeNet's proprietary IP communications solution.

"This truly unique destination is an ideal property for showcasing how Envision IP can deliver premium entertainment in the guest room while helping guests enjoy all the other events and amenities the property has to offer."

The IP communications solution integrates Enseo set-top box technology and supports a total of 650 TVs. LodgeNet currently has Envision installed in nearly 9,000 gaming guest rooms in the U.S., including The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas, which is the company's largest single Envision installation.

Guests can enjoy a still-in-theater Hollywood experience, check weather, engage in on-property events and more. An easy-to-use interface allows them to find out what they want to enhance their experience. An Interactive Program Guide helps guests quickly find their favorite free TV entertainment as well as five HD channels carrying information and promotional content specific to the resort.
