The annual Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) Expo will be held this year in Barcelona, Spain, February 14-17. This must-attend gathering will celebrate technological innovations in the mobile industry, as well as showcase the future of wireless communications across the world. RadiSys (News - Alert), a leading provider of innovative hardware and software platforms for next generation IP-based wireless, wireline and video networks, will be one of the companies participating in this year’s event.
At the show, RadiSys will showcase its SIPware conferencing applications, including six-way continuous presence video conferencing capabilities, as well as the RadiSys LTE Security Gateway (LTE SEG) and a RadiSys-Aricent (News - Alert) pre-integrated, pre-optimized LTE Evolved Packet Core (EPC).
RadiSys’ turnkey SIPware conferencing applications are designed for next-generation mobile subscribers. According to the RadiSys website, the RadiSys SIPware Reservationless Conferencing solution offers service providers an off-the-shelf solution for delivering profitable, feature-rich conferencing services—rapidly and cost-effectively.
In the RadiSys hospitality suite (Hall 4, Level 2, Hospitality Suite 11), RadiSys will demonstrate six-way continuous presence video conferencing capabilities delivered by the RadiSys Convedia Media Server. The demonstration will show how a SIP application developer can establish a video conference where six real-time video streams are displayed in a multi-pane continuous presence display. This demonstration will illustrate why the continuous presence capability is a preferred mode for enterprise-class video conferencing applications.
The LTE (News - Alert) EPC demonstration will showcase a RadiSys-Aricent pre-integrated, pre-optimized LTE EPC framework on RadiSys’ industry-leading Promentum ATCA architecture, while the LTE SEG demonstration will give guests a look at the new LTE SEG 11000, a security gateway based on Network Domain Security (NDS) standards.
In addition to the conferencing and security demonstrations, RadiSys will also be joined in the hospitality suite by several RadiSys Alliance Partner Program (RAPP) members who will provide presentations for guests throughout the show.
