Telanetix, Inc., a communications solutions provider offering next generation voice services and solutions to the business market, has launched its new certification program for IP phone system manufacturers.
Officials with Telanetix said that through the "Certified Interop (News - Alert) Manufacturer" “CIM” Program, the company more effectively integrates participating manufacturers' IP phone systems with the company’s hosted SIP Trunking service and network.
Company officials said that CIM partners also receive ongoing technical and network support. The service, which was built to deliver to customers the highest quality VoIP service available, is marketed under Telanetix' (News - Alert) AccessLine brand, and is available nationwide.
Concurrently, Telanetix announced that Vertical Communications is the first manufacturer to receive CIM certification under the new program.
Vertical Communications (News - Alert) IP phone systems are now tightly engineered to incorporate the service quality inherent on the AccessLine SIP trunking network.
According to company officials, leveraging the nationwide Telanetix network, Vertical's IP Phone (News - Alert) Systems can deliver best-in-class service to end-users whether located at company offices, using a corporate VPN, or working from home, or even a client site.
"We use Telanetix' AccessLine voice service for all of our internal voice traffic and it works flawlessly," said Bill Tauscher, CEO of Vertical Communications.
Tauscher said that with the company’s Vertical IP Phone Systems tightly integrated with AccessLine's SIP voice service through the new Certified Interop Manufacturer Program, the company will be able to bring the best quality telecommunications system at the lowest possible price to the customers.
“We are confident that this ongoing close technical partnership, and the high standards of the CIM program, will also result in superior service quality for our customers. We are excited to see this hit the market," he said.
"Vertical Communication has been doing business with AccessLine as a supplier of equipment and as an AccessLine network customer for many years and we are extremely pleased to build on that relationship through our new CIM Partnership Program," said Doug Johnson (News - Alert), CEO with AccessLine.
Johnson said that Vertical is one of the most well-established names in the VoIP phone system industry, with a broad distribution model that spans small businesses to national retailers.
“This is a real win for our joint customers who will receive quicker installation of their phone systems, lower costs and superior issue resolution due to the tight working relationship between the phone system supplier and phone network provider," he said.
