IP Phone: snom Opens UK Office Following Acquisition of pbxnsip

snom AG, provider of IP phones and telephony solutions, has opened a new UK office, providing distributors and resellers in the UK with a direct link to snom and its IP phones and solutions.
The opening of the new office follows the acquisition of IP-PBX (News - Alert) solutions provider pbxnsip by snom, giving snom UK Ltd the ability to provide solutions for all stages of the IP telephony network.
To ensure that snom UK Ltd reaches its targets and makes a significant impact in the UK IP sector, snom UK Ltd has also appointed Jonathan Greenwood as UK MD. Jonathan was previously the CEO of pbxnsip (News - Alert), and brings with him a wealth of experience of the UK IP telecoms industry.

The creation of snom UK Ltd and acquisition of pbxnsip marks the first stage of the renewed focus on the UK market by snom. This will be supported throughout the coming year by a range of additional activities and announcements.
“The UK is a large and interesting market in which we have always had a presence, but by creating snom UK Ltd and opening an office there, we are better able to take advantage of the opportunities it presents.
