Datora Telecom Group has offered VoIP services to countries in Latin America and other continents for nearly 20 years. The initial MVNO complete license from the national telecommunications agency of Brazil, Anatel was received by Datora, a VoIP founder in Latin America.
The extremely fast-growing mobile-to-mobile requirements in Brazil have also been fulfilled by Datora with its Datora Mobile offering.
"The company's technical support engineers possess deep knowledge of the system and are able to provide us with very fast issue resolution, even for the most complex development issues,” said Wilson Otero, CEO at Datora Telecom. “The PortaOne (News - Alert) systems are vital to our continued growth as they allow our customers to manage their own accounts and it significantly improves the reliability and quality of our services."
PortaSwitch was chosen by Datora in 2007 as an initial release of the flagship VoIP infrastructure system. The company benefited considerably due to the implementation of PortaSwitch, and subsequently extended the PortaSwitch platform for administering its augmented capacity needs and providing additional redundancies.
Customers of Datora can now offer an enhanced custom designed experience to end users with Datora's mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) and M2M services.
According to Otero, the organization can now tackle several business necessities on a single platform with PortaBilling Oracularius. Datora migrated to an enhanced version of the system in order to heed the growing demands of the organization.
"We are very pleased to work with Datora Telecom and provide them with our scalable PortaBilling Oracularius solution,” said Roman Khalenkov, sales and marketing director for PortaOne. “Datora is capturing significant market share in one of the world's fastest growing telecom environments, and we are there to make sure their customers receive the sophisticated VoIP functions they need to operate profitably."
Datora recently developed an enhancement to PortaOne's PortaBilling Oracularius. The organization is now open to a dependable system within an Oracle (News - Alert) Real Application Cluster environment with this carrier grade converged VoIP billing and customer management platform.
Numerous billing capabilities like the usage event, usage or periodic-based billing are also available from the system.
