In an effort to make cash management easier for the merchants, PDC4U, a cloud-based payment processing service provider, announced an enhancement to its Cash Acceleration Management system -- the introduction of “PayPhone” interactive voice response (IVR) system to its suite of cash accelerating products.
With its cloud-based payment processing service founded in 2005, PDC4U allows companies new to merchant processing to accept credit cards and ACH transactions for payment, via the phone, Internet or on the go with mobile devices. PDC4U’s solutions are designed to reduce receivables and increase cash flow. The company serves U.S. based businesses and organizations in the utility, health care and the accounts receivables management industry.
The new PayPhone feature allows the corporate users of PDC4U Cash Acceleration Management suite of products to send a phone number to their customers by e-mail, automated dialer or text message. The phone number can also be printed on the customers' billing statement.
On calling the number, the customer is responded by an automated and fully client customizable interactive voice payment system. A virtual agent assists the customer to make secure credit card payment. Clients of PDC4U can also place the phone number on billing statements that are sent out, link the number to QR codes, or direct the payer to an online payment portal.
Covering every type of payment option, PDC4U’s Cash Acceleration Management is aimed at positively enhancing the consumer experience. By making it as flexible and simple as possible, PDC4U enables their clients to increase cash flow and optimize revenue cycle management.
“PayPhone is yet another feature adding to our Cash Acceleration Management system. Our experience in A/R management has taught us that the easier it is for someone to make a payment, the more likely they are to make the payment quickly, and on time,” co-founder of PDC4U Kent Green noted in a statement.
Last month, PDC4U launched a mobile optimized payment portal to allow its clients to offer their customers a simple mobile optimized payment portal for use with their smart phones. Optimizing the public facing payment portal and recognizing mobile devices allowed PDC4U's programmers to develop a simple three-step mobile payment portal for both credit cards and checks.
