NewNet (News - Alert) Communications Technologies, LLC has completed its acquisition of Interact Inc., allowing NewNet Communications the ability to expand its IVR solutions to its customer base.
A wholly owned Portfolio Company of Skyview Capital, NewNet Communications Technologies is a company that specializes in innovative solutions for next-generation technology. The company “enables global telecom operations and equipment manufactures to rapidly develop and deploy cutting-edge, revenue-generating applications that deliver feature rich, value-added services.”
NewNet has continued to see dramatic growth and continues to work on developing its portfolio of products, which include everything from broadband wireless solutions, protocol software, short messaging solutions and professional services.
Part of its expansion plan was to take over Interact Inc., a high-performance company that handles Interactive Voice Response solutions (IVR). Interact, which currently handles the IVR solutions for over 80 million users, will provide NewNet with its TraxcomSecure and Mobile Messaging technology, along with its cloud communications solution.
NewNet is most excited about its access to Interact’s Cloud Communication solution. The new program will grant clients access to SMS applications and voice apps in a much quicker time and without the need to write code. This enables customers to engage more advanced communication tools a lot more easily and with no programming knowledge.
This acquisition will make NewNet even stronger in the communications market.
“We are excited to add the Interact Incorporated (News - Alert) solutions to our NewNet product portfolio,” said NewNet’s CEO, PJ Louis. “Interact’s assets are an excellent fit for NewNet, and we believe this transaction will deliver significant business growth for our organization.”
Chairman of NewNet, and Chairman and CEO at Skyview Capital, Alex Soltani, agreed with Louis saying that this acquisition proves the strength of the two companies. “Today’s signing announcement marks a new, important chapter in our company,” said Soltani.
“This is a highly strategic transaction, allowing NewNet to broaden its product offering to its blue-chiptelecom carrier clients,” he said. “It provides NewNet with cross-selling opportunities, engineering talent, and innovative intellectual property. It is Skyview’s first deal to close in 2013 and facilitates NewNet’s continued growth.”
