TEOCO Corp., a provider of network cost management, least cost routing, revenue management and service assurance, has announced its partnership with NetNumber.

NetNumber (News - Alert) is a provider of multi-protocol, centralized routing database solutions. The partnership is expected to benefit customers as both the companies build upon their respective “first-in-class” solutions.

Glenn Marschel, president at NetNumber, said that NetNumber is looking forward to the advancements that will come from partnering with TEOCO (News - Alert). He believes that the combination of NetNumber’s multi-protocol TITAN routing database provisioned with optimal routing-policy by TEOCO will reduce service provider costs and prove to be an asset to the industry.

Working with NetNumber’s next-gen TITAN server, TEOCO’s Least Cost Routing solution is expected to provide greater cost savings for customers, said companies’ officials.

Moreover, TEOCO’s new intelligent network solution, INroute, will allow customers to take advantage of TEOCO’s robust routing capabilities across a wider range of protocols including ENUM, SIP, INAP and AIN, thus extending the life of legacy network switches.

“With NetNumber as our partner, we are able to quickly deliver highly accurate routing over any type of network technology, helping our customers transition from legacy TDM networks to an all IP world,” said John Devolites, vice president and general manager at TEOCO.

Devolites said that INroute will provide a nearly unlimited number of routing options for our customers, enabling them to deliver more content and services over their network at a lower cost, and with greater efficiency.

Earlier this year, TEOCO acquired TTI Team Telecom International, Ltd. (TTI Telecom (News - Alert)), an Israel-based provider of operations support systems (OSS) and business support systems (BSS) for telecommunications service providers.
