Riverbed Technology, an IT performance company, is gearing up to showcase its hybrid cloud performance solutions at Interop (News - Alert) New York 2011. Interop New York takes place from Oct. 3 -7, in New York, N.Y.
At the five-day event, industry thought leaders, vendors, and networking and storage professionals will join together to learn about and discuss the industry's most compelling topics, including virtualization, mobility, cloud computing and data center advances, and load balancer technology, while at the same time learn how to leverage new technologies to increase productivity and improve collaboration within the enterprise.

Officials with Riverbed said that the company’s executives and a Riverbed customer will also participate in panel discussions to weigh in on issues that are challenging today's distributed enterprises, including issues relating to hybrid cloud computing and network management.
According to company officials, Riverbed transforms IT performance by providing solutions spanning wide area network (WAN) optimization, application-aware network performance management (NPM), application delivery controller (ADC (News
- Alert)), load balancer technology, Web content optimization (WCO), and cloud data protection for backup, archive and disaster recovery.
Company officials pointed out that in addition to visiting the booth, conference-goers can find Riverbed and its customer presenting and participating in panel discussions at the CIO Bootcamp, Enterprise Cloud Summit, and Interop Cloud & Virtualization Conference.
Riverbed customer and executives here would address performance challenges surrounding hybrid cloud computing and network management; and discuss the benefits of virtual appliances.
In other industry news, load balancer company Coyote Point Systems (News - Alert) announced a partnership with Blackboard, an enterprise technology and solutions provider that aims to improve the experience of millions of students and learners around the world.
The signature partnership will allow Coyote Point to deliver its Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) for Blackboard (News - Alert) Learning Management Systems.
