Telarus partners who sell MegaPath (News - Alert) broadband connectivity and cloud services will want to take advantage of a new assessment tool that MegaPath is offering for a limited time. It promises to make cloud sales easier.
MegaPath has announced the availability of its Cloud Capacity Assessment service, which helps partners assess the actual capacity and resources required to move all or some of a business’ infrastructure to the cloud.
The service is no-obligation and free for a limited time, and it includes a one-week evaluation that measures the current workload capacity of their data center and desktop infrastructure, and monitors total resource usage.
The analysis is delivered in a graphical report that breaks down all the details.
For customers that already have a virtualized infrastructure, the MegaPath tool can be used to fine-tune resources and right-size infrastructure. MegaPath also has said that it can be used to help show how to enhance security via MegaPath’s data centers.
“Businesses planning to transition to the cloud as well as businesses that have already virtualized their infrastructure should perform this free assessment to ensure they are not overspending on unnecessary capacity and resources," said John Scarborough, senior vice president of product and marketing for MegaPath.
