Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert) announced the signing of an industrial partnership deal with Altran Technologies to build a state-of-the-art telecom services center in France. As per the terms of the agreement, Alcatel-Lucent’s engineering team of 170 professionals specializing in 4G technology will be integrated with the telecoms and media teams at Altran. This will foster a highly professional working relationship between the professionals from both the organizations, thus enabling Alcatel-Lucent and Altran to further strengthen their collaborative efforts initiated more than 15 years back.

In a release, Loic le Grouiec, country operations manager at Alcatel-Lucent, said “We are very pleased to enter into this partnership project with Altran, the global leader in consulting and innovation, particularly since this will give our highly-qualified employees the opportunity to pursue their careers in the Nantes area.  We are sure that the management of Altran will enable our staff to further their professional development in accordance with their talent and expertise. The newly signed deal fortifies this long-standing association with Altran, strengthening its expertise in the 4G segment to offer specialized services to its clients with unique skill sets.

Alcatel-Lucent is engaged in the manufacturing of telecommunication equipment focusing on hardware development for mobile, fixed and converged networking applications. The company also has additional business interests in the development of IP technologies, software and associated services.

Altran Technologies is engaged in providing consultancy services specializing in advanced technologies and innovation with additional business interests in administrative, information, strategy and management consulting.
