The European Advanced Networking Test Center AG (EANTC) carries out test sessions that are complemented by consulting and training for its customers. The company’s service offers users with objective facts they can depend in when making their decisions. The test examines and assesses major equipment manufacturers’ solutions for Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP and timing.
Recently, Spirent (News - Alert) Communications announced that the company played a major role in the European Advanced Networking Test Center AG (EANTC) Carrier Ethernet interoperability testing event. The company has been actively participating in this event for the last six years.
The test examined major equipment manufacturers’ solutions for Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP and timing. The interoperability test was recently demonstrated at Carrier Ethernet World Congress, September 17-20 in Barcelona. The company has stated that this will once again be hosted at Carrier Ethernet World Congress APAC. Spirent has made use of its test center for this purpose.
The Spirent TestCenter platform offers measurement solutions for next generation networks. This includes conventional performance testing and the strict analysis of virtualization, cloud computing, mobile backhaul, and high speed Ethernet.

To support data traffic and high-bandwidth/low latency applications, the solution can test the network's ability.
