Connect Financial Software Solutions has entered into a multi-year agreement with Summit Credit Union to provide mobile banking applications and mobile remote deposit capture solution.
“We have been looking for a true application-based mobile product-set that included the ability to support Mobile Remote Deposit Capture capabilities,” said Sam Whitehurst, president and CEO of Summit CU, in a statement.
“We heard about the work that Connect was doing in this area, and after reviewing the solution offering, decided it would be the best fit for our organization,” added Whitehurst.
He said that with the growing popularity of adoption of mobile online banking access, it is critical for the company to be able to offer a fully functional mobile banking channel to the members.
Summit CU is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. The Credit Union was formed in 1935, and serves over 23,000 members in a variety of business, education, and government establishments. Summit CU has six locations in the greater Greensboro and surrounding areas.
Joe Long, vice president of Connect, said that Summit CU has seen a growing interest and demand in the mobile banking arena, and they recognize that growth in the channel is going to continue.
“This eye to the future will enable Summits’ members to perform their banking transactions literally anywhere, at anytime,” said Long.
