Frost & Sullivan Honors DeviceAnywhere with Customer Value Enhancement Award

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Mobile application lifecycle management provider, DeviceAnywhere, is the recipient of the 2011 Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) global Customer Value Enhancement Award for its role as a pioneer in Mobile Application Lifecycle Management (mALM). DeviceAnywhere is showcasing the mALM suite at this week’s ITEXPO West in Austin.

Frost & Sullivan selected DeviceAnywhere
for this honor due to its leading position in the mALM market, as well as its demonstrated excellence in implementing value-added strategies to benefit its customers.

“The global mobile ecosystem has been challenged year-on-year through the introduction of countless new mobile devices, OSs, applications and services. DeviceAnywhere recognized that enterprise customers needed extra help to keep pace with the dynamic mobile industry,” said Faraz Syed (News - Alert), CEO of DeviceAnywhere, in a company statement.

“We understood that the boundaries have changed and that more integration was necessary to support enterprise applications from the planning stages, all the way through to development and monitoring. Frost & Sullivan’s Global Customer Value Enhancement Award underscores the strength of our strategy and validates the need for an end-to-end answer for mobile application lifecycle management.”

DeviceAnywhere (News - Alert) was selected specifically by Prathima Bommakanti, Frost & Sullivan’s Senior Research Analyst. Bommakanti noted that this selection was made due to DeviceAnywhere’s early identification of the industry need for a comprehensive mALM solution to address the market challenges surrounding current application development.

Bommakanti went on to express that DeviceAnywhere delivers best-in-class, end-to-end solutions and services designed specifically to improve business process optimization. The company was selected by Frost & Sullivan for their first-to-market cutting-edge planning, execution and analysis tool aimed at the dynamic mobile industry.

DeviceAnywhere aims to reduce operational costs, streamline application development processes, decrease time-to-market and increase the end-user satisfaction for enterprises delivering mobile initiatives. The company directly addressed market needs in the highly complex and fragmented mobile ecosystem.

To help client companies better manage the entire mobile application development lifecycle, DeviceAnywhere expanded its offerings beyond mobile testing. Enterprises competing in vertical markets such as retail, healthcare, financial, banking and more are heavily investing in mobility and business process optimization to drive increased productivity and internal efficiencies, optimized customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

With DeviceAnywhere’s end-to-end solution, organizations can plan for, develop and test a large variety of mobile applications and content, while also guaranteeing the quality of the end product across any platform or device.

In other DeviceAnywhere news, TMCnet announced in June that the company had extended the capabilities for its Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1. This easy mobile device management is delivered through a seamless integration of DeviceAnywhere’s Test Automation for Smart Devices and IBM (News - Alert) Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1.
