Zenprise (News - Alert), a provider of secure mobile device management (MDM) and Trace3, a solution provider for reducing IT infrastructure complexity have revealed that Trace3 has joined the Zenprise Partner Network.

As a member of the Zenprise Partner Network, it will enable Trace3 and Zenprise to work together to provide customers throughout the United States with Zenprise's MDM solutions.

"MDM is a key area for enterprises today,” said Heidi Kujawa, vice president of strategic and emerging technologies for Trace3, in a statement. “At Trace3, we are seeing first-hand the explosion of the BYOD phenomena and the consumerization of IT and how these two trends are forcing IT organizations to deal with supporting a flood of smartphones and tablets.”

"After doing a head-to-head comparison of Zenprise and other leading MDM vendors, Zenprise was the clear winner. Zenprise's solutions provide the end-to-end security, flexibility and enterprise grade architecture that enable us to provide our customers with the world class solutions they have come to expect from Trace3," Kujawa added.

The partnership will offer a big business opportunity for both partners as enterprises are looking for implementing security, policy and compliance across a wide variety of devices operating on different operating systems including iOS, Android (News - Alert), BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile.

“Trace3's extensive experience and elite customer focus makes them an ideal member of the Zenprise Partner Network,” said Ahmed Datoo, CMO for Zenprise. “Their holistic approach to designing robust, reliable and flexible solutions for their customers sets Trace3 above other solution providers."

Recently, Zenprise announced it raised $30 million from private investors in a funding round led by Greylock Partners. The funds will be used for product development, sales and marketing operations, as well as supporting overall company growth.
