Today, mobile device management provider MobileIron inked a value added reseller (VAR) partnership with Structured, an information technology consultancies and systems integrator, which will enable MobileIron’s products to become available to Structured’s customers.
Structured provides enterprise customers with mobile device management and security solutions that protect their network and data, while simultaneously enabling employees to use their personal smartphones for work.
“Structured’s expertise in enterprise wireless and data security combined with MobileIron’s mobile security solutions enables our customers to deploy wireless mobility systems in a way that increases productivity through worker mobility while at the same time protecting enterprise data and reducing IT costs,” said Ron Fowler, Structured’s president and CEO, in a statement.
MobileIron powers multiple solutions that enable IT organizations to enforce security policies to protect corporate data using a centralized management approach. These robust solutions also allow employees to connect their smartphones securely to enterprise resources including email, Wi-Fi and VPN.

Recently, TMCnet reported that the mobile device management provider formed a partnership with iPass Inc (News - Alert)., a Wi-Fi and enterprise mobility provider to companies around the world, in order to integrate mobile connectivity, application management and device management that will fully support a workforce that is becoming more mobile by the minute.
