CenterBeam Inc., a U.S.-based IT managed service provider serving mid-size businesses, has recently introduced its latest mobile device management solution.

The robust offering provides enterprises with greater control over the growing number of smartphones and tablets being used by their employees, allowing users to easily manage iPhones, iPads, and Android-based smartphones and tablets, as well as laptops, PCs, servers and other endpoints, all from a single platform.

Based on the IBM (News - Alert) Endpoint Manager for Mobile Devices which is built on BigFix technology, the mobile device management service helps enterprises to support a variety of platforms including Apple iOS, Google (News - Alert) Android, Nokia Symbian, Windows Phone and Windows Mobile.

Available right now, the CenterBeam Mobile Device Management Service also reduces the need to purchase and maintain hardware.

Some of the capabilities encompassed in this innovative MDM product are management actions, application management, policy and security management, and enterprise access management.
