This expansion has been driven by the increasing demand for mobile device management solutions from different industry segments.
“In Asia Pacific region, the demand for mobile app management and mobile device management is growing exponentially and the need spans all industries. In the last few months, we have won major customers in financial services, hospitality, and aviation industries among others,” said Bob Tinker, CEO, MobileIron, in a statement.

Recently, MobileIron signed the Australian Capital Territory Government as a new customer. Australian Capital Territory Government will be teaming with the company in order to support its BYOD program. To meet growing demands, MobileIron has tripled its number of employees. The company also expanded its distribution partnership with the addition of over 50 reseller partners and more than 10 carriers including SingTel (News - Alert), Telstra, and Optus. In addition, over 200 partner engineers are trained to deploy and support MobileIron.
