Telelogos Announces New Windows 8 Compatible MDM Software

With all the reported interactivity of Microsoft’s (News - Alert) new Windows 8 platform, many different companies are coming up with new ways for their own software or devices to work better with the program. Companies the world over have come up with new integrations such as Support.com’s tools for small and medium sized businesses that can work with Windows 8 to be that much more intuitive and easy to use. The French company Telelogos has come up with their own set of solutions that will work with Windows 8 and can allow a user to control and access a whole host of different mobile devices.


Telelogos has announced that their newest version of the Mobile Device Management software, MediaContact 5.6 will work fully with devices that are running Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro. Because the new Windows 8 is not yet available, Microsoft has said this mobile device management software will be “commercialized” by October 26th and will be a boon to all enterprise level companies who need access to a fleet of different mobile devices, including Windows tablets.

MediaContact 5.6 standsout among other Mobile Device Management solutions because of a few key tools that make it one of the best in the industry. Among the features people can expect from this updated Telelogos product, is the ability to remotely update and install mobile applications on their devices. The solution also allows quick and easy synchronization between a mobile device and a company’s main hub. 

MediaContact 5.6 also has added functionality when it comes to Android (News - Alert) devices. The new software will more easily be able to link up and sync with tablets and smartphones that are running the Android OS and the newest iteration of the software means that there is increased security protocols. These security settings can be changed by the administrator and set however a company’s IT department would like them.
