Mobile device management solutions from MobileIron now supports Windows Phone (News - Alert) 8, enabling mobile IT teams to add Windows Phone 8 devices to their mobile environments.
Customers can now secure and manage Windows Phone 8 apps and devices without the need for third party tools. They also benefit from the policy, enrollment, selective wipe and certificate capabilities of the mobile device management solution from the company.
Mobile device management software from the company uses the cloud for saving vital information securely. By utilizing this new resource, it could eliminate many issues that may arise when storing employee’s personal data.
MobileIron also provides mobile application management (MAM) features on Windows Phone 8 as they do on other operating systems.

The challenge for enterprises has been combining that with a platform that then offers enterprise application delivery and security for company data.
