Dialogic, a provider of communication technologies and an innovator of mobile video has recently announced that it plans to open a video design and development center in Noida, India.

According to the release, with global mobile data traffic expected to increase at over 100 percent CAGR through 2014 and with mobile video accounting for over two-thirds of that traffic by 2014, high quality mobile video services will likely be used as an everyday service by billions of users.

Dialogic (News - Alert) provides industry-leading video media server and video gateway products. Since the arrival of 3G networks, Dialogic has been dedicated to allowing its customers to deploy innovative mobile video services.

Dialogic's India video design and development center will enhance Dialogic's capabilities in the expanding areas of video content adaptation, video streaming and video analytics that will drive these future services. Sanjay Singh, previous managing director of Dilithium (News - Alert) Networks in India with an extensive background in the communications industry, will be in charge of running the video design and development center.

"We all know mobile broadband networks are continuing their explosive growth with video services being a key part of that growth. Dialogic expects very significant growth in the video streaming and video analytics market, and we intend to continue to supply our customers with great video products to drive even more innovative video services," said Nick Jensen (News - Alert), CEO of Dialogic.

"With the opening of the India video design and development center, we are now even better positioned to take advantage of the growth and innovation that continues to thrive in the industry. Additionally, this center significantly increases Dialogic's presence in the Indian market, “Jensen added.
