Due to this joint effort, deltathree will now have the ability to easily record personal video and voice messages, which can then be sent through email and is fully accessible around the world. The release stated that the solution enables deltathree subscribers to now have full access to video mail from SIP phones.
"We have a longstanding relationship with Dialogic (News - Alert), and are proud to have worked together to deliver such an innovative video mail solution for deltathree," said Sam Waicberg, CEO of Iperia. "The collaboration between Dialogic and Iperia is a true win-win for service providers such as deltathree, providing them with the means to easily and rapidly offer new and innovative video services to their enterprise and consumer-based customers, ultimately improving customer retention through a rich messaging experience, while increasing their revenue potential."
Through utilizing Dialogic’s PowerMedia IP Media Server, service providers such as deltathree can easily create and deploy new video value-added services, like video mail. This feature brings multiple benefits to the company including elevating the level of customer satisfaction, increasing the amount of revenue per user, and strengthening customer retention.
Due to the fact that Dialogic's PowerMedia IP Media Server allows for video processing such as video transcoding, transrating and transizing for the H.263 and H.264 codecs, the Iperia VX platform gives service providers a way to enhance the user experience on 3G and SIP user terminals through dramatically improving the quality of experience for subscribers.
"deltathree's new video mail offering is a great value-add," said Amos Shahar, director of network operations and engineering at deltathree. "Our deployment of this joint technology solution allows deltathree to continue to enhance our services and provide new customer-focused communications capabilities, which increases our customer satisfaction and further positions deltathree as an innovative leader in the field of next generation communications solutions."
