REVE Systems: Bandwidth Optimization on Deck at CommunicAsia 2012
By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor
Bandwidth optimization of mobile networks is key to improving VoIP communications. With better, more optimized bandwidth, CAPEX and OPEX (News - Alert) savings are possible while still providing the high voice quality subscribers demand.
This will be especially important as the market for mobile VoIP is set to increase rapidly over the next three years.
Recent research by Reportstack notes an annual compound growth rate at around 64 percent by 2015 with a large contributing factor to the growth being an increasingly global network and wireless bandwidth capabilities.
REVE Systems will focus on this importance during their participation this week’s CommunicAsia (News - Alert) 2012 in Singapore – where the company’s headquarters is located.
The provider of mobile VoIP and IP softswitch solutions will present their Mobile Top Up and Value Added Services (VAS) launched for the IP industry as well as their softswitch and billing solutions.
REVE Systems CEO, M. Rezaul Hassan said, “We will be showcasing iTel ILD platform, which is aimed at international long distance carriers. This platform comprises iTel SBC (Session Border Controller) iTel Media Gateway (News - Alert) with SS7 capabilities and our bandwidth optimization technology.”
Earlier this year, the company announced its “Quick Call Connectivity” advancement as part of their iTel Switch Plus offering. This functionality offers users a chance to more quickly be connected to their second party while also increasing voice quality of calls.
