As another year comes closer to an end and some companies are scrambling to round out revenue projections, others are celebrating a successful 2012.

REVE Systems falls into that category as the company has not only received the 2012 Red Herring’s (News - Alert) Top 100 Asia Award in Hong Kong, but is also proud to have introduced a number of robust solutions to support the growing business.

In July, REVE Systems was also awarded the 2012 NGN Leadership Award for its iTel Switch Plus from Next Gen Mobility Magazine. This softswitch is now known in the industry for delivering a quickest call connectivity feature, allowing instant connectivity on VoIP calls. Now, service providers deliver better call quality to end users.

The introduction of the iTel VAS for service providers was another win for REVE Systems. This new service offers Friends Chat and Astrology service, offering service providers a new revenue stream. Providers already delivering the iTel Mobile Dialer Express or iTel Switch Plus can now provide customers with access to the iTel VAS service. Users simply enter a short code and follow voice prompts to use the service. 

For softswitch users everywhere, the breach of a password doesn’t have to threaten the use of the VoIP software. To combat the growing threat to VoIP services everywhere, REVE Systems launched the iTel Switch Plus Security Device, designed to provide a second layer of authentication for any VoIP call user.

This solution offers an electronic device that generates a one-time password the user must enter when logging into iTel Switch Plus, providing a unique code to prevent the malicious use of a password and login.

A number of benefits are delivered with VoIP calling, but calling card applications can face adoption challenges when the time to connect is considered too long. Thanks to the REVE Systems iTel Call Through Dialer, things are about to become much easier.

This innovation was introduced by a European calling card company based in the Netherlands. Developed by REVE Systems in Belgium and Netherlands, the application is designed to provide the same calling experience as a standard call made from a mobile phone.

Social media is an active platform for REVE Systems as the company has already gained 147,791 likes on its iTel Mobile Dialer Facebook (News - Alert) page, and 51,300 followers on its iTel Switch Plus Facebook page, demonstrating a growing and loyal following.

In October, REVE Systems took its innovations to Gitext Technology Week in Dubai, but really caught attention when the company organized a beach networking party for more than 200 people from Israel, Turkey, Morocco, UK, USA, Gulf, Jordan, Indian Sub Continent and the Gulf. They also enjoyed participation from professionals from many African Nations. Renowned carriers such as Vodafone (News - Alert) were also seen.

Finally, REVE Systems celebrates the provision of an advanced carrier grade solution in the form of its media gateway, Session Border Controller (SSB) and bandwidth optimizer, all of which are useful for ILD carriers. The New Delhi-based provider was awarded for its Excellence in the Unified Communications (News - Alert) space, receiving the Unified Communications Excellence Award from TMC for its iTel Switch Plus offering.

While we simply scratched the surface of activity in the past year for REVE Systems, the reality is the company is delivering solutions that meet the needs of a discerning customer base.
