It’s been a busy few weeks for MPLS provider UNSi, having recently signed ADVODA Communications as a Master Agent, and winning a $30-million contract to deliver its aggregated services to more than 7,500 branch offices of a major service organization.
All of these efforts are part of UNSi’s ongoing initiative to expand its network of partners in order to reach more customers and provide comprehensive services.
The latest development in this partnership initiative is a more tightly integrated partnership with cloud communications provider, SimpleSignal (News - Alert). According to Paula Como Kauth, director of marketing at UNSi, this strengthening of the relationship is designed to broaden the reach of both companies. Kauth stated that UNSi has long had a relationship with SimpleSignal, and the company is merely fortifying that relationship in an effort to provide more of a total solution – including a voice platform.
This marks a more progressive approach for UNSi, and a relationship between two up-and-coming companies, according to Kauth.
In the past few months, UNSi has launched a system to unite partners in various areas such as cloud, voice and more. Kauth stated that these are typically companies that already had relationships with UNSi, but these relationships are now developing into more formalized partnerships in an effort to provide total solutions. In this way, these companies can approach potential customers together, offering one solution to meet their needs.
UNSi provides network services to companies with multiple locations, giving expansive broadband and MPLS services. The company sells through channels and directly. Kauth stated that the company is poised to have several more exciting releases in the next few days.
