United Network Services, Inc. (UNSi), a voice & data carrier provider, announced today that Jim Dabramo has joined the company as its new vice president of sales. DaBramo brings with him well over 30 years of sales, marketing and business development experience. In his role as vice president he will be directly responsible for driving the company’s national sales of data, voice and cloud services.
As he steps into his role, his first goal will be to build a northeast sales team that will primarily focus on the New York City metro-market. Once the team is in place they will concentrate on expanding and strengthening its Channel Sales Division.
Before joining UNSi, DaBramo worked for IBBS (News - Alert), where he served as vice president of sales, marketing and business development. In that position he pushed the company’s cloud based service assurance products to the MSO community. DaBramo’s resume also includes working for Airband Communications (News - Alert) as a sales executive, where he excelled at building the sales team selling Fixed Wireless services. DaBramo has also been a sales executive at the Florida-based CLEC FDN, Regional Fiber Provider Metro Access Networks, Bell Atlantic (Verizon (News - Alert)) and Wiltel.
In a statement, Dabramo said, “UNSi is currently in a very unique position in the market with its expansive network reach and robust data, voice and cloud product set; it’s the perfect time to join this fast-growing company to be involved in championing the company to the next level of growth. I’m looking forward to building an aggressive sales program and team for the New York metro market, as well as an enhanced channel program for UNSi focused on providing competitive, but value-added sales wins for UNSi and its partners/agents.”
“The energy at UNSi has lifted even higher since hiring DaBramo who is a very well-respected and proven sales leader in this industry,” stated Stephen John, SVP and chief revenue officer at UNSi. “We are very excited to have Jim lead our national sales team.”
DaBramo holds a B.A. from Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York. He resides in Scarsdale, New York with his wife and son. UNSi says that DaBramo will work out of its New York City Office.
