Due to the fact that this offering is URL-based, IP addresses can be housed right within URL’s which allows organizations to seamlessly integrate with third party products and set up a URL that allows employees to search for and review resources that contains the specifics on exactly what an individual host or application is doing within the network.

David Cearley from analyst firm Gartner (News - Alert) concluded, "Because mashups can be created quickly and easily, they create possibilities for a new class of short-term or disposable applications that would not normally attract development dollars. The ability to combine information into a common dashboard or visualize it using geo- location or mapping software is extremely powerful."
