BRIEF: RI gas prices drop for first time this year

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Gasoline prices have dropped for the first time in 2013, falling 2 cents over the last seven days, AAA Southern New England says.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.519 at self-service pumps, according to AAA's weekly survey.
Rhode Island drivers are paying 21 cents more per gallon than the national average of $3.309, AAA says.
At this time last year, Rhode Island's average price was $3.509.
AAA's survey found a 36-cent price range, from a low of $3.399 to a high of $3.759.
