First Dakota National Bank to Sponsor First Dakota Kids Race in The 2013 Canton Cycling Classic
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --(Business Wire)--
The
Canton Cycling Classic and Legacy Electronics are happy to announce
further community support and commitment to cycling and South Dakota's
youth in the form of a new sponsorship. First
Dakota National Bank has agreed to sponsor the First Dakota Kids
Race, a key element of The Canton Cycling Classic, part of The
2013 Flyover Championship Race Series. By virtue of its support to
The Canton Cycling Classic, First Dakota National Bank is also a
contributing sponsor to The 2013 Flyover Series.
"The First Dakota Kids Race will include three different categories of
kids cycling races," added Jason Engle, president of Sioux Falls' Legacy
Electronics and a rider in The Canton Cycling Classic. "The racers in
each kids category, from 'training wheels' level to 12-year-olds, will
participate in track laps, and their participation s free."
"We're pleased to have First Dakota National Bank's support, which
demonstrates their commitment to invest in our community's future
and our youth, and to help bring great racing to our area," said Dustin
Bakker, race director for The Canton Cycling Classic. "Racing is not
possible without our sponsors' generous contributions, so we invite
community members to support these sponsors."
"First Dakota National Bank is pleased to sponsor The Canton Cycling
Classic, the fifth and final race in The Flyover Series. Investing in
the future of our youth and the wellness of the community is important
to First Dakota," stated Michael Ness, Sioux Falls Market President at
First Dakota National Bank.
The news about First Dakota National Bank's sponsorship follows race
management's announcement last month that Legacy
Electronics, Inc of Sioux Falls, S.D., would be a major sponsor.
