BRIEF: Allentown man charged with selling heroin to police informant

A 45-year-old man was charged Tuesday night with making three drug sales to a confidential police informant in Allentown last month, according to court records.
Sheldon Nevius, of Allentown, allegedly sold heroin to the informant on Jan. 14, Jan. 18 and Jan. 24, according to a criminal complaint filed by Allentown police vice division. Detectives kept surveillance on Nevius and watched the transactions, according to the complaint.
Each of the drug transactions was arranged by cellphone, police said.
Nevius, of 615 N. Ninth St., was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin and criminal use of a communication facility. He was arraigned before District Judge Michael Faulkner Tuesday night and sent to Lehigh County Prison under $75,000 bail,
