At the 2012 Red Hat Summit and JBoss World, Radware’s (News - Alert) Dr. Gilad Zlotkin, vice president, of Virtualization and Management Products, will moderate a session on “Application Delivery for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization with Radware”. Dr. Zlotkin will also participate on the IBM (News - Alert) panel on KVM and on the RHEV Ecosystem Analyst panel.

According to a press release, Dr. Zlokin is responsible for driving Radware's Virtual Application Delivery Infrastructure (VADI) strategy, product development, roadmap, and management solutions. Prior to joining Radware, he was the founder and CEO of Xeround Systems, a leading cloud database service provider, and the founding manager of the Cisco Systems (News - Alert)` Software Development Center in Israel. Dr. Zlotkin was also a part of the funding management team in four other start-up companies, one of which became public and two were acquired by Cisco Systems and Genesys/Alcatel.

A former research fellow at MIT (News - Alert), Dr. Zlotkin holds a Bs.C in Mathematics and Computer Science, Dr. Gilad Zlotkin has 25 years of experience in the software industry as an innovator, developer, senior executive and leading scientist. Dr. Zlotkin has a Ph.D. in Distributed Systems from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and was a research fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management's Center for Coordination Science.

Dr. Zlotkin has an extensive experience in grid computing, application scalability, database scalability, network management and distributed systems. He has published numerous scientific articles in the field of Multiagent Systems and Distributed Artificial Intelligence, and has co-authored “Rules of Encounter: Designing Conventions for Automated Negotiation Among Computers” published by MIT Press. Currently, Gilad is focusing his activities around cloud computing and virtualization infrastructures.
