Network Performance Monitor Announces Tutorials, Network Performance Monitoring Tips

Network Performance Monitor, a network performance monitoring application, announced that its site now offers guides, tutorials, and network performance monitoring tips to help simplify network management and monitoring activities.

The featured tutorials include “How to monitor network traffic,” which address the most common and efficient way to monitor the network is by using a network monitoring tool, and “Network Bandwidth Monitor” that looks at why network bandwidth monitor is so critical for network operations.

Additional tutorials include “Configure Netflow,” that offers a great explaining how to setup netflow on a cisco router or switch as well as “SolarWinds Real time Netflow Analyzer,” “How to monitor network traffic,” “Configure Netflow,” and “Network Bandwidth Monitor.”

Network Performance Monitor is a provider of tools for monitoring bandwidth, network performance, traffic analysis, and host of network monitoring tools.

Visitors to the site can find a wealth of network performance monitoring information, according to company officials. The site’s owner said that the visitors will also have access to performance and Monitor Network Bandwidth tools.

A recent post on the site, entitled, “Orion Network Performance Monitor Review,” presents a comprehensive review of the SolarWinds (News - Alert) Network Performance Monitor (NPM), which is considered as a premier network performance monitoring application.

As per the post, the NPM is an application that provides fast and detailed information into network issues, performance analysis and reporting.

In other industry news, network diagramming solutions leader OPNET Technologies (News - Alert) recently sat down with TMCnet to discuss how the company fared in 2011.
