Network monitoring has become more challenging due to mounting compliance requirements. In this scenario it becomes imperative that security technologies receive the right network data to perform analysis.
Anue Systems, a provider of network monitoring switch technology, announced it is offering the innovative 5200 series Net Tool Optimizer (NTO) solutions to enable security teams to gain visibility into the network.
"To security professionals, the network monitoring switch is an innovation that will make their lives easier," said Rudy Millian, NTO product manager, in a statement. "The Anue NTO delivers the right network data to the right monitoring tool for efficient analysis and remediation."
Anue leverages its patented filtering technology and easy-to-use control panel to help network engineers minimize network downtime and maximize return on monitoring tool investment. The company’s Network Emulation products simulate real world conditions for the testing and deployment of large networks.
By offering network visibility, Anue Net Tool Optimizer security solution solves one of the biggest challenges security teams face. The solution provides exactly the right data to each security tool, making it possible to dynamically adapt monitoring in response to network behavior.
NTO is used to aggregate data from multiple visibility points and ensure the delivery of mission critical network traffic to essential monitoring tools, giving data center teams complete network visibility. The product’s automation capabilities allow customers to dynamically configure the NTO in response to real-time network events.
With Anue 5200 series NTO, security professionals can monitor 1G/10G/40G networks using existing 1G/10G tools with sophisticated filtering and load balancing. It allows monitoring connections during setup and improves incident remediation.
The solution also assures quality of data by de-duplicating packets and monitors inclusive virtualized environments, leveraging new mirroring capabilities in VMware vSphere 5.0. It gives granular access control to manage access to the solution. Further it trims packets of payload where Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) is involved.
Earlier last year at the Interop (News - Alert) Las Vegas, Anue Systems launched its latest newest Net Tool Optimizer (NTO) product – the 5273 high availability platform, designed for telecommunication and cable service providers.
