While the demand for performance-sensitive applications and data services continues to explode, migration to new infrastructures presents significant challenges to communications service providers (CSPs).
CSPs are forced to overhaul their OSS infrastructure as a measure to monetize new customer demands, improve time-to-market acceleration and support agility and infrastructure optimization.
To help CSPs address these challenges, InfoVista, a global provider of network and application performance management solutions, is solidifying its presence in market by increasing its sales force and investing in innovative network performance solutions.
InfoVista has increased its global sales force by 30 percent over the last three months. The move is driven by the growing demand for its unified network, service and application performance management solution.
Additionally InfoVista has also invested in solution development to help communications service providers (CSPs), IT-intensive enterprises and mission-critical government organizations monetize, efficiently operate and cost-effectively optimize their networks.
InfoVista, in partnership with Australian telecommunications provider Telstra (News - Alert), delivered Application Assured Networking service to demonstrate its ability to meet the service assurance demands from the market.
In another similar announcement InfoVista’s service assurance platform has also helped STC, a CSP (News
- Alert) in the Middle East, monitor its business and broadband services and millions of resources in real time, while also offering the network intelligence its disparate business units.
“In the increasingly hyper-connected world, InfoVista is uniquely positioned to expand its leadership in the service performance assurance market,” said Philippe Ozanian, CEO, InfoVista, in a statement. “Our technology platform, the most powerful in the market, is helping our prestigious CSP and large enterprise customers to cope with the increasing demand for high performing services and applications transported by their all-IP networks.”
Demonstrating the company’s interest in innovative development the company recently launched VistaSON, designed to enable mobile operators to drastically improve network capacity and QoS, while delivering reduced OPEX (News - Alert) and a competitive advantage, by transitioning from manual RAN optimization to automated self-optimization.
In another significant development InfoVista also updated its service performance assurance platform to offer industry-leading scalability, service modeling flexibility and open integration features. The platform provides the granular performance data visibility and real-time network intelligence necessary to rapidly deliver differentiated services, maintain superior QoS and customer QoE, while lowering total cost of ownership (TCO).
Recently InfoVista was also recognized as the 'Best Network Management Vendor of the Year' in Network Middle East's 2012 Network Innovation Awards for its network performance management solution.
