SolarWinds (News - Alert), a provider of IT management software solutions, announced it will release three new products during the third quarter of 2012 to reinforce its commitment to redefining the network management market. The new products are designed to simplify network management at IT organizations. The three products include SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager, SolarWinds User Device Tracker and SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager.
SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager, formerly SolarWinds IP SLA Manager, is capable of monitoring VoIP call quality and correlating with the underlying WAN performance.
SolarWinds User Device Tracker gives organizations the ability to map and monitor switch ports, and track users and devices to wireless controllers and access points.
SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager is now scaled to meet the needs of large organizations with three-fold increase in supported nodes, support for Alaxala and Apresia and enhanced inventory reporting.
"For more than 10 years, we have challenged the status quo of expensive and complicated 'framework' solutions established by most other enterprise software vendors," said Sanjay Castelino, VP and market leader, SolarWinds, in a statement.
“By paying close attention to the needs of the IT pro and building highly useful products that solve their everyday problems out of the box, we have been able to change the dynamics of this space and, in return, have earned the trust of over 75,000 customers looking for a network management tool or solution,” Castelino added.
The new products release translates to a competitive advantage for both the customer and the company. While these products provide IT pros with the right functionality for their changing environments, they help SolarWinds maintain relevancy and strong connection with users, the company said in a press release.
Earlier in June SolarWinds announced it is entering Japanese market by launching a localized version of its flagship product- the SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM).
