Aryaka Intros 'WAN Optimization Appliance Buyback Program' Liberating Enterprise Networks

Enterprises rely on the network as it serves as the manager of all information and communication. When network assets are managed within the cloud, IT administrators can find it challenging to stay at the forefront of all network challenges with an organization. Network performance management and monitoring solutions tailored specifically for the cloud makes network performance easier to maintain.

One company network performance space, Aryaka (News - Alert), the world's first WAN optimization as-a-Service solution, has recently unveiled that enterprises participating in Aryaka's new WAN optimization appliance trade-in program are gaining significant cost-savings while experiencing better network and application performance, visibility into network and application performance, and improved customer service.

WAN optimization as-a-Service is a new approach that is gaining significant adoption as it enables enterprises the highest network and application performance for smoother collaboration and higher productivity between globally distributed teams.

"Everything changes from generation to generation -- fads, fashion, music, language and, of course, technology," said Sonal Puri, Aryaka vice president of marketing and sales. "As technology evolves so should your business. Now is the time to trade in clunky, complex and costly WAN optimization boxes and move to an intelligent network in the cloud."

Aryaka eliminates the need for expensive and complex WAN optimization appliances as well as long-haul connectivity. It also enhances collaboration across corporate locations, data centers and cloud services. Arkaya offers cost benefits, ease-of-use, instant deployment, performance advantages, dramatic productivity gains and real-time visibility into WAN applications, locations and performance, while providing 24/7 support.

Under the appliance buy-back program, enterprises trade in their hardware WAN optimization to enjoy the choice, flexibility and benefits from leveraging Aryaka's optimized, intelligent network. Aryaka's WAN optimization as-a-Service solution is "sophisticated simplicity," purpose-built for the cloud. The solution eliminates the need for expensive and complex appliances as well as long-haul MPLS connectivity worldwide. With Aryaka, globally distributed teams can collaborate across a private MPLS-like network with security, reliability, and end-to-end visibility and control required by the enterprise.

Because hardware-heavy WAN optimization approaches are symmetrical, they typically require a minimum of two boxes, between headquarters and a branch office. As new branch offices come online, more boxes are required for each of these remote sites. An additional management device is required to monitor the network. Ongoing IT costs arise to fix bugs, assess and remediate network outage situations and ensure 24x7 IT support. Finally, there is a need to invest in a private network, dedicated MPLS links.

But, Aryaka's WAN optimization-as-a-Service eliminates all that by enabling enterprises to plug into an MPLS-like private network in the cloud for lower TCO.

At TMC’s (News - Alert) Executive Editorial Open House in San Jose, Cali. a few weeks ago, Arkaya sat down with TMC CEO Rich Tehrani to discuss Arkaya’s WAN Optimization as a Service Solution.

“The fact that we have a global platform that allows enterprise networks to be delivered in a different way as a utility model – that is the vision that they find most exciting,” Puri told TMCnet.
