Mobile learning is the latest fad and demands for virtual m-learning classroom applications are on the rise. There could not have been a more opportune moment for University Alliance (News - Alert) to launch its MP4 downloads program. The largest facilitator of e-learning in the USA has introduced MP4 course lecture download availability for all its online Certificate Programs. This will enable the students attending Villanova University, Tulane University, the University of Notre Dame and the University of San Francisco take their online learning mobile.

The new MP4 feature is designed to enhance the quality of mobile learning by offering course lectures in video formats. In order to avail this facility, the students simply need to select the online certificate course files they want and download them to their computers. No matter where they want to further transfer or store their files---in their iPods, iPhones, Blackberries and Droids or other mobile devices---the UA mobile learning program will allow them to do so.

The MP4 downloads are going to benefit all e-learners, especially the ones, who are always on the go. “I really enjoy the online learning experience and especially the new MP4 video download feature,” said Dafe Ojaide, a business professional completing Villanova's Six Sigma online Master Certificate program. “I am always on the go so the ability to download my classes onto my iPod and Blackberry is perfect for my busy schedule.”

The University Alliance’s e-learning programs have always integrated cutting edge features, and immersed students in a multimedia environment so that they are able to study at their convenience. With learning become mobile the UA students are to enjoy added advantages such as virtual classroom experiences, streaming video lectures, message boards, a live chat rooms and e-mails.

On the strength of Two-way VoIP, instant messaging and shared virtual whiteboards, UA e-learning and mobile learning program allow students to interact with fellow classmates and faculty in real time.

Participants can watch and learn from industry professionals as they deliver lectures and course material 100 percent online via streaming video or on CD-ROM.

Message board and chatroom facilities help the students stay connected with fellow students and faculty members all the time, from anywhere in the world.

With smart phones flooding the markets and mobile phones being increasingly used as a multi-purpose personal device, University Alliance took the most discreet step at the right time by introducing classroom experiences on mobile. According to “2010 Horizon Report” by the New Media Consortium, or “NMC,” the mobile market is booming. When it comes to selecting mobile phones, consumers are spoilt for choices; over a billion new phones are produced each year. Thousands of applications are being developed to make smart phones smarter. And the supply and availability of such products are on constant rise.

“Today, people expect anytime, anywhere access to data and services that used to be available only on a desktop. The portability of mobile devices and their ability to store and play MP3 and MP4 files makes them ideal tools for mobile learning,” said Adrian Marrullier, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of University Alliance Online, while explaining the value and relevance of M-learning and MP4 downloads.
