ShoreTel (News - Alert) is expanding its UCaaS solutions portfolio by shipping the ShoreTel 400 series IP phones for ShoreTel Sky.
The company made available its 400 series IP phones for on-premises customers in November 2013, and now these devices have been launched for its ShoreTel Sky cloud solutions portfolio.
These IP phones are now shipping from qualified ShoreTel partners and deliver seamless integration with all ShoreTel cloud applications, resulting in an enhanced user experience and better service, according to the company.
The ShoreTel 400 series phones are available in IP480, IP480G, and IP485G models. Users have the option of choosing from a basic model and a more advanced backlit, color display phone. The ergonomically designed 400 series phones offer high sound quality and feature an easy-to-read display in all the models.
Businesses investing in an all-ShoreTel solution receive future support for software applications.
"We've listened to our customers and created an end-to-end solution that will benefit their businesses," said Pej Roshan (News - Alert), vice president of product management at ShoreTel. "By offering an integrated and high-quality cloud service with ShoreTel 400 phones, we are providing customers with a seamless communications solution designed to meet their unique needs."
ShoreTel was in news last month for announcing the release of new Salesforce.com (News - Alert) integrations including the ShoreTel for Salesforce and ShoreTel Sky for Salesforce, integration solutions.
These integrations are intended to help collate all business communications into a single application for enterprises and equip customer-service employees with a comprehensive history of previous customer interactions from across the company.
These integrations also enable the measurement of ROI effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide support for next-generation browser-based CTI (News - Alert) on any device or OS.
"Finally, phone data is aligned with business data in the CRM system,” said David Petts, senior vice president of worldwide sales at ShoreTel.
