Predictive Dialer Powered by VocalCom is Crucial for Managing Outbound Campaigns

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

A predictive dialer is a computer-based dialing system that can quickly make multiple outbound calls by pulling from a database of phone numbers that connect to a variety of communication and telephone lines. The configuration and the amount of agents using this system will affect how many calls the predictive dialer places per hour. In addition, these dialers use statistical algorithms to greatly cut the amount of time agents spend waiting between conversations, while almost completely eliminating the chance of someone answering when no agent is available to speak to them.

Hermes Eagle, a predictive dialer from VocalCom (News - Alert), offers an innovative way that company officials claim can increase productivity levels by 70 percent for outbound campaigns.

According to the company’s website, the dialer has the ability to establish communication between a lead and an agent in less than five seconds. Some other capabilities include the managing of time zones and quotas, an integrated “Do not call” list and call blending management.

The predictive dialer offers a suite of tools for call files recycles, and the automatic sending of SMS text messages, fax and e-mails. In addition, the dialer also hosts voice broadcast messages that can be used as promotional offers, invitations or alerts. This is an alternative way to get your message out there to an abundant amount of people in a short period of time.

Hermes Eagle can work on multiple IP platforms including Host Media Processing from Dialogic and Asterisk (News - Alert) at Avaya.
