DLS Internet Services has recently revealed it will be providing its PBX (News - Alert) service to the Illinois Railway Museum, a not-for profit organization that preserves important and historic railroads.
Officials said that IRM, with the help of aDLS Hosted PBX and a predictive dialer, will make it much easier to communicate with train fans. The nonprofit will also be able to route calls more intelligently, reduce costs and utilize the existing campus data network infrastructure.
A predictive dialer dials a list of preset telephone numbers and connects answered calls to the people making the calls, often referred to as agents. Serving as one of the most important aspects for every call centers, a predictive dialer eliminates all unproductive and unnecessary calls such as answering machines, voicemails, busy & fax tones etc.
This innovative dialer also is capable of predicting and continuously adjusting the dialing patterns based on the number of available agents, average call handling time, number of free lines and various other factors. Officials claim that the solution will help solidify and streamline the museum’s business operations.
In addition to the predictive dialer, the Illinois Railway Museum will also gain access to other Hosted PBX features such as IVR, Advanced Call Director, Follow-Me, Call Recording, Conferencing, E-Fax and Voicemail to Email.
“We are thrilled to help America’s Largest Railroad History organization, members of which have close ties to our company. My children and I are regular visitors of the Illinois Railway Museum”, said Sam Rozenfeld, CEO of DLS Internet Services, in a statement,
