IAT Releases Compliant Cell Phone Dialing Technology

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC (News - Alert)) has many regulations in place to ensure that the privacy of consumers is protected when they are using landline or mobile phones. These regulations are designed to limit how public and private organizations access consumers without their consent. With so many regulations in place companies have to make sure they are not breaking any laws when they call someone on their phone, whether it is a mobile phone or not. The strict regulation in place in the ARM (News - Alert) industry can be very costly if a company violates any of the regulations. SmartCell, a compliance cell phone contacting technology released by IAT, aims to give organizations the ability to make calls without violating any laws.

Agencies can't contact cell phones with an automated predictive dialer, and SmartCell provides a manual dialing application to call cellphones within the parameters of current guidelines. The manual-only platform can be used with the SmartDial management solution to keep agents productive.

SmartCell can be used as a standalone product or interface with different dialing solutions from IAT for account management and call transfers. This includes management and compliance features that are part of the company's legacy dialing technology including: agent management, list building/management, scheduled call backs, monitor/coach/conference, reporting, call recording, and time zone and area code verification.

Because it doesn't have predictive and automated dialing capability, managers will be sure the system operates within the law, and agents will only be able to make manual calls. Agents receive accounts from a distributed list prompting them to dial the number using a single push button or using the keypad. When the number has been verified by the system it places the call.
