Qualfon, a global provider of contact center, back-office, and business process outsourcing (BPO) services, recently announced that it is expanding its relationship with a major telecommunications company, which will enable the company to create 400 new jobs in Dumaguete, Philippines.
“We are pleased to announce that our client is recognizing continued value and significant monetary savings from their Qualfon outsourced services,” said Scott Warner, Qualfon’s Dumaguete Site Director. “This relationship is growing Qualfon’s business and creating more job opportunities for the local Dumaguetenos.”
Qualfon Dumaguete is currently advertising the 400 open positions to potential candidates using billboards, posters, and social media, asking interested applicants to apply in person in the recruitment area at the Qualfon office in LinkSY IT Park, Bantayan, Dumaguete.
“Our client decided to make additional investments in an outsourcing location where they have already recognized significant success,” added Warner. “In 2013, Qualfon Dumaguete achieved average monthly attrition rates of 3.78 percent and average daily absenteeism rates of 4.89 percent. These metrics are critical for ensuring a high quality customer service in our contact centers, because tenured and engaged employees deliver superior experiences for customers that ultimately drive customer loyalty and value for our client.”
The company has also reported rapid client growth in Latin America, with Mexico re-emerging as a great market for BPO services. The BPO provider, which has recently announced three other new business opportunities in its Mexico City location, is currently providing customer acquisition and on-boarding services on behalf of an Internet search company, which is planning to expand the program over time.
