SafeNet is living up to its name, as Gartner (News - Alert) has named it the leader in its Magic Quadrant for User Authentication. The report evaluated its Fully Trusted Authentication Solutions, and has determined that, for the second year in a row, it has the security and the quality to remain at the head of the pack.

The Leaders in Gartner’s Magic Quadrants are vendors with a clear vision that’s in line with market trends, technical innovation, and an understanding of the market. Those with a strong business strategy and execution earn the title of “Leader,” and it is not one given lightly. As such, SafeNet’s (News - Alert) positioning as one speaks to the quality of its User Authentication.

SafeNet is well known for its authentication solutions as it is, so Gartner didn’t have to search far to find it. With the recent launch of SafeNet Authentication Service, customers have access to a fully automated cloud offering that makes authentication workflows streamlined and easy.

It’s expected that cloud-based user authentication services will continue to grow in demand among enterprises, so SafeNet is in a great position to take advantage of that. While barely even 10 percent of enterprises today use them, Gartner predicts that by 2017, more than half of all the enterprises will be taking to the cloud for user authentication implementation.

SafeNet can look forward to plenty of growth in the years to come, as demand rises and it continues to innovate and improve to meet the growing needs of enterprises. Having been positioned as a Magic Quadrant Leader, it’s sure to do well.
