DocuSign to Help Construct a New UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

DocuSign, a provider of electronic signatures, announced that it will help construct a new UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital by collecting over $100,000 in funds through its newly formed philanthropic partnership with Birst, InsideView, Salesforce.com Foundation and Silverpop (News - Alert).

These philanthropic sponsors of the eSigning for Dollars program will donate five dollars for every Dreamforce 2010 attendee providing an electronic signature on December 6 - 9 in the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center. The partners were also able to pledge $ 100,000 by offering a dollar for every Dreamforce attendee electronic signature.

The UCSF Benioff Children’s hospital is being built in Mission Bay and the 183-bed children's hospital will set a standard for patient- and family-centered health care, safety, sustainability and translational medicine. The hospital is expected to be open for service by 2014.

“DocuSign and our philanthropic partners strongly believe in giving back to the community. This fundraising event for UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital demonstrates the strength of our commitment by providing Dreamforce attendees the opportunity to join us in supporting this great cause,” said Steve King, president and CEO of DocuSign, in a release. “We are proud to broaden awareness and financially support the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.”

Being the standard in security, compliance and reliability along with providing the most complete eSignature solution and transaction workflow available, DocuSign claimed that it has been the obvious choice for many companies. Its solutions help reduce considerable administrative time, energy and resources and remove the cumbersome paper process. Its solution is the efficient, user-friendly way to transact via electronic signature.
