TEAM Informatics (News - Alert), a provider of enterprise software products, recently announced the release of version 3.5.2 of its Google Search Appliance (GSA) Connector for WebCenter Content, enabling users to connect the GSA to Oracle (News - Alert) WebCenter Content.
The GSA Connector from TEAM Informatics has been designed to extend the power of Google's core search technology to corporate content across multiple servers and repositories. The newly released solution now provides support for WebCenter Content Release 11.1.1.8.
"The focus of the GSA (News - Alert) Connector 3.5.2 release was increasing the functionality within the WebCenter Content interface," said Scott Olesen, director of R&D for TEAM.
Technology changes at a very fast pace and the GSA Connector has looked to evolved with it. TEAM explained that it made relevant changes to the Connector in congruence with the changes in WebCenter Content and the Google (News - Alert) Search Appliance.
"The GSA now provides suggested searches, document previews, dynamic navigation, and much more without leaving the WebCenter Content interface," said Olesen.
TEAM Informatics announced a similar update last year, when it launched of version 3.0 of the Google Search Appliance (GSA) Connector for WebCenter.
The company first launched its GSA Connector in 2008 and is committed to adding new capabilities to keep it compatible with the evolution of the GSA and Oracle's WebCenter.
Also last year, TEAM Informatics completed Minnesota Housing Finance Agency's (Minnesota Housing) new public website. The company seamlessly integrated WebCenter Sites with WebCenter Content using its TEAM WebCenter Sites Connector.
TEAM Informatics leveraged best practices provided by Oracle product management to develop the sites connector. The initiative provided full WebCenter Content enterprise content management functionality by making select content available to the WebCenter Sites toolkit.
