Keynote Systems, a provider of Internet and mobile cloud testing and monitoring solutions, has this week revealed the integration of its Keynote DeviceAnywhere (News - Alert) platform with Worksoft Certif, allowing users to perform automated end-to-end testing of SAP mobile applications on real devices.
Thanks to the integration between Keynote and Worksoft, SAP (News - Alert) customers can use the Worksoft Certify Mobile Interface Extension to test both SAP and non-SAP mobile business applications. This will provide operations and QA teams with advanced tools to ensure quality in mobile business systems across a wide range of industries.
The service allows testing on any mobile device platform or OS from user’s Worksoft Certify interface. Worksoft customers can access all of the device capabilities through Worksoft Certify Mobile Interface Extension.
The integrated SAP mobile app testing solution leverages Worksoft Certify no-scripting approach, so users can create business process automated tests with no scripting. Additionally, users have complete access to Keynote's powerful DeviceAnywhere mobile device testing platform.
"Our integration is the ideal solution for SAP users who have come to value the dependability and quality reputation of Worksoft Certify, which they can now use along with Keynote DeviceAnywhere, the industry's leading mobile testing platform,” explained Vik Chaudhary, vice president of product management and corporate development at Keynote, in a statement.
According to Chaudhary, the partnership creates an easy-to-use automated solution for real-device mobile testing; critical for mobile growth in the SAP ecosystem.
SAP has set a target to secure one billion users in the next two years. The Keynote-Worksoft integration allows SAP customers to use the Worksoft Certify Mobile Interface Extension to test both SAP and non-SAP mobile business applications.
Worksoft customers looking to expand their current Certify implementation to cover mobile testing need to have the Worksoft Certify Mobile Interface Extension, as well as a private cloud of mobile devices from Keynote.
Worksoft is presenting the new Interface Extension during the 2013 Worksoft Customer Conference on March 25 through the 28 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
